In compliance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders concerning public meetings, the BMHA board met via conference call and allowed the public to attend.
Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority (BMHA) Board of Commissioners today held its monthly board of commissioners meeting via conference call. The Authority’s first-ever virtual board meeting employed a phone dial-in platform which enable commissioners and BMHA executives to fully participate in the session, and also allowed the public to listen to the meeting as it happened.
“The current reality of the need for social distancing during the COVID-19 outbreak required us to find a way to conduct our March meeting in a safe and responsible manner,” said Gillian Brown, Executive Director of BMHA. “The conference call format worked out well. The Board was able to complete the agenda, discuss and vote on all the items, and the public was able to listen to the meeting live.”
